Obituary for Michael J. Kramarczyk Sr.
With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Michael J. Kramarczyk Sr., age 77 of Maricopa, Arizona on November 25, 2022. This devoted husband, father and grandfather went home to the arms of our Lord surrounded by many members of his loving family after a valiant five-year battle with cancer.

Michael was born in January 1945 to Edward and Helen Kramarczyk in Chicago, Illinois. He had two sisters and three brothers. After serving two tours in Viet Nam, Michael went on to have careers in tool and die and in the printing industries. He amazed many with his artistic talents and his creations resulting from them. Upon retirement, Michael and his wife moved from their home of 36 years in Crystal Lake, Illinois to Maricopa, Arizona to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Michael and his wife Christine married in 1970. From this fifty-two-year marriage came two wonderful sons (Michael Jr. (wife Natalya) and Jeffrey (wife Karen) and five amazing grandchildren. Michael enjoyed time spent with his loving family, fishing and hunting.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and several aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church in Maricopa on December 2nd. . There will be a short viewing at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Catholic Mass. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Gary Sinise Foundation at https://www.garysinisefoundation.org/donate. This foundation has many programs including some that support Viet Nam veterans and housing for disabled veterans.

John Moore: Mike served in A Trp before transferring to D Trp.  He was in A Trp HQ plt on A1 vehicle and 1st Plt on A10 track.

David Cox: Very sorry to learn about Mike. We had a good talk at San Antonio (2014). I was surprised to learn he had moved from the upper midwest to Maricopa.

I think he went on one of the Shotgun 90-day TDY deployments in the months leading up to all of us going.
